Exhibition in Portugal

Gémeo Luís, illustrator, graphic designer and illustration teacher at the faculty on fine arts in the city of Porto in Portugal is running exhibitions with works of illustrators from all around the world in Portugal and all of the participants will be printed in a collective book. Here's my contribution.

I got a wonderful package today: my friend Maral sent me this wonderful book that I couldn't purchase in Bologna. It's by Sandra Poirot Cherif, published with Rue du Monde, and tells the story of an immigrant girl, who tries to live a normal life but is constantly followed by a bird, symbolizing imminent deportation:

Bologna Book Fair

The Bologna Book Fair was great as usual! Here I'm sharing some inspiring links to reports and photos. First a really nice introduction to some French books by Ina Hattenauer (scroll down a bit):
